Back From The Weekend

Got back from the snowmobile trip in one piece. This year, the emphasis was on SNOW. We got dumped on. It was great. In what has been a mild winter thus far with very little snow, there were no complaints. It was kind of fun even though the visibility was low almost the entire time. It was a definite winter wonderland. It did make photography kind of a challenge.

We went up to the northern tip of New Hampshire to the town of Pittsburg, just south of the Canadian border, on the edge of the Great North Woods. The lodge that we stay at is called Tall Timber, and they rent cabins which are decked out pretty well. Ours had a gas fireplace and a jacuzzi. Inside the main lodge there is a great pub that we love to hang out in after a long day of riding. Very cozy and warm.

We try to do this every year. One of my friends I've known since the age of 4, the other since the 4th grade. This year we had some new friends, too. The big hit was spontaneously cracking open the "jukebox" (my infamous iPod) and hooking it up to some speakers for some deep cut randomness. "I can't believe you have this tune, man." CRANK.

This year, Polaris showed up with a fleet of next season's new high-performance sleds for people to try out. Given the amount of the paperwork required, we passed.



With hundreds of miles of trails, navigation can be a challenge, especially when it's snowing. But it makes it even more fun.




The day we left, the sun finally broke out and gave us a dazzling day. We stopped off in Woodstock, NH, for some lunch.



Got back to the interweb machine and saw the futures down on the G-20 rebuff to the Euro Zone request to add more money to the IMF. Regardless of whatever reason the media wants to put forward, I don't see anything unusual here. 1352.28 should be tested. Anything above 1363.47 would suggest that the market is keeping its upside options open.

There is no reason for making any big decisions until the market tells us what's what.
