Uber, PI's, OPEC, And Happy Thanksgiving

Another day, another whacked out valuation, this one for a company courting litigation on a global scale -- Uber, which responded to recent protests and controversy in foreign markets by saying it would pry into the private lives of journalists.

Sounds like a company run by the government, and not one I'd ever do business with. Never did like people who used the word uber anyway. "Oh it was so uber cool." Whatever dude.

Uber just raised yet more funds at a value of 35 to $40 billion. They'll need it for legal costs (and private investigators).

I find it interesting that the OPEC meeting is tomorrow, on Thanksgiving Day, when USA markets are closed. So that is when the best trade will probably occur. Oil is trading weak but still looks like I want to be long. NG has much more relative strength.

The euro is still bouncing slightly but looks like it still wants a new low.

Gold, while unimpressive lately, remains in a positive configuration since its 1,131 low.

For the S&P, unless 2056.75 gets busted, higher prices look promising. However, it looks ever so weak the longer it goes without central bank announcements of stimulus, something it seems to be counting on from the ECB.

Happy Thanksgiving tomorrow. My favorite holiday. I have much to be thankful for. We all do.
